The Colusa RedHawks will challenge the Paradise Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colusa will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Colusa's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Winters 14-0. The result was nothing new for the RedHawks, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Ava Garcia, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Winters off the board. Garcia has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Braelyn Santana was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliah Ramirez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Colusa was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive games.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Paradise and Pierce had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Bears 7-6.
Grace Meldrum made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Maggiemae Stratton was excellent, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashley Gandolfi, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases.
Colusa's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Paradise, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
Paradise's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Colusa hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .391. It's a different story for Paradise, though, as they've only averaged .244. Will they be able to contain Colusa's hitters?
Colusa came out on top in a nail-biter against Paradise when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the RedHawks repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
