The Villages Charter lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Umatilla, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Buffalo blew past the Bulldogs 11-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Buffalo, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Layla Farrish was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Joette Raketich also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

The Villages Charter's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8. As for Umatilla, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Coming up, The Villages Charter is taking a road trip to take on Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Umatilla, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
