The Graves County Eagles suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Breckinridge County on the road and fell 62-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Graves County has scored all season.
Caroline Lucas continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Breckinridge County, scoring 21 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleigh Huffines, who scored 15 points along with three blocks and two steals.
Graves County has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Breckinridge County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
Graves County will be playing in front of their home fans against Paducah Tilghman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paducah Tilghman is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. Breckinridge County on the road again on Thursday and play against Central Hardin at 8:00 p.m. on January 11th. Central Hardin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Breckinridge County is ranked 48th).
