Kenosha Christian Life is 1-9 against University School of Milwaukee since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Kenosha Christian Life Eagles will head out on the road to take on the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Kenosha Christian Life came up short against Heritage Christian and fell 90-80. While losing is never fun, Kenosha Christian Life can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while Heritage Christian is ranked 59th).
Despite the defeat, Kenosha Christian Life got a solid performance out of William Barris II, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barris II has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Carroll, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, University School of Milwaukee's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 60-59 win over St. Francis.
Kenosha Christian Life bumped their record down to 5-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for University School of Milwaukee, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Kenosha Christian Life beat University School of Milwaukee 63-53 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kenosha Christian Life since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
