Jones has won ten straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Sequoyah has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Longhorns will host the Indians at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Jones' favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Jones is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Little Axe, posting a 59-14 victory. The Longhorns pushed the score to 59-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians cut but never quite recovered from.

Acyn Hansen was his usual excellent self, throwing for 264 yards and five TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 35 yards and one touchdown. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carlos Hardeman, who picked up 136 receiving yards and three scores.
Meanwhile, Sequoyah humbled Bethel with a 57-6 victory. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Wildcats are ranked 126th) , the win on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jones better keep an eye on Ridge Blackbear. He was instrumental in Sequoyah's win, rushing for 124 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Blackbear's longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudson Hendricks, who rushed for ten yards and a pair of TDs.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Sequoyah, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Hendricks, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
One reason for the win was Sequoyah's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 5.5 sacks. Casen Leep was especially locked on to Bethel's QB and sacked him twice.
Jones' record is now 11-0. As for Sequoyah, their record now sits at 10-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Jones has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 241.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sequoyah struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 204.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Jones against Sequoyah when the teams last played back in November of 2017, as the team secured a 42-6 win. In that contest, the Longhorns amassed a halftime lead of 26-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
