South Gwinnett took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 80-55 margin over the Norcross Blue Devils. The Comets not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 14th (when they won 83-57).
South Gwinnett found their leader in freshman Jacody Terry, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jojo Pressil, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten steals.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Gwinnett will host Morrow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norcross, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on New Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
