The Plateau Valley Cowboys''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They walked away with a 48-36 victory over West Grand. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Leading Plateau Valley to victory were Virgil james Kuper and Parker J richardson. Kuper gained 166 total yards and three touchdowns, while J richardson threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns. Kuper's longest reception was for an incredible 83 yards. Kaleb Galbraith also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.
West Grand's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Terryberry, who threw for 335 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. Joe Probst was another key contributor, picking up 173 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Plateau Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for West Grand, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-1.
Plateau Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Grand also has no future games currently scheduled.
