Football Recap: Darius Carter Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Cane Bay

With a playoff win on the line, River Bluff rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Cane Bay Cobras by a score of 24-13. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gators.

River Bluff's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Darius Carter, who picked up 168 receiving yards and three TDs. The Gators are 3-1 when Carter posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Myers, who rushed for 156 yards.

River Bluff now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Cane Bay, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, River Bluff will face off against Stratford on Friday. The Knights will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. Cane Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
