Fountain-Fort Carson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Pueblo South Colts by a score of 59-51. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won five in a row.

Fountain-Fort Carson found their leader in sophomore Jordan Ulmer, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryson Williams, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 12 points and three steals.

Pueblo South lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was J'Rell Williams, who shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Vigil, who posted eight points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Fountain-Fort Carson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-34 victory against Falcon on the 6th. As for Pueblo South, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-50 win against Pueblo West on the 6th.
