Make it eight blowout wins for the Bishop's Knights this season. They blew past Classical Academy, posting a 66-9 victory on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Bishop's has managed all season.
Bishop's got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayla Johnson out in front who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Margo Leong, who scored 15 points.
Bishop's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Classical Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Bishop's will face off against Valley Center at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Valley Center will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 902nd, while Bishop's is ranked 160th). As for Classical Academy, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Pacific Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th.
