Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Creston). They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Greene County Rams on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Creston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Greene County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Creston is set to square off against their familiar foe Perry at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Greene County will take on rival Harlan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
