Cedar Creek extended the longest winning streak in Cape-Atlantic - National this week by beating Vineland, 42-12. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Pirates.
Buena led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Pleasantville.
Joe Durso and Nigel Case gave Middle Township a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Durso threw for 24 yards and one touchdown, while Case ran for 174 yards. Teammate Terrance Toney added to the ground attack by rushing for 138 yards.
Calvin Cass provided a threat through the air and on the ground as St. Augustine Prep lost to St. Joseph. He completed seven passes for 71 yards and also ran for 104 yards. Cass' favorite target this week was James Kitchen, who caught two passes for 44 yards.
St. Augustine Prep's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hermits feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alex Hughes has thrown for 802 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Austin Francisco has 18 catches for 335 yards. Cass leads the league in rushing with 1404 yards.
A big matchup in Cape-Atlantic - National this week will be when the Panthers take on the Chiefs. At the moment, Middle Township is in third, while Buena is in fourth.
