The Pendleton County Wildcat made easy work of the Luray Bulldogs on Wednesday and carried off a 14-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcat.

Pendleton County let Avery Townsend and Lizzie Alt run wild. Townsend got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Alt went 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave Alt a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Parker, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Pendleton County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Luray only posted an OBP of .304.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will face off against Richwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Luray, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Hardy at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
