Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mojave

Mojave strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Somerset Academy Losee Lions with a sharp 59-37 victory. With that win, the Rattlers brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.

Mojave's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabella Crawford, who went 7-for-13 en route to 20 points and eight rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Crawford now owns an excellent 46.2% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was A'Yanna Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

Mojave smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Mojave's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Somerset Academy Losee, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Mojave will face off against Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset Academy Losee, they will challenge Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
