Huntsville scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Clay-Chalkville, 21-20. At the time, the Cougars were ranked sixth in the state, while the Panthers were 91st.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Huntsville, who took down sixth ranked Clay-Chalkville, 21-20.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Gadsden City and Scott sharp's team meet this week. The Titans features well-regarded sophomore Tyler Carr while the Panthers has Cameron Toney, a sought after senior.
A big matchup in 6A Region 7 this week will be when Pell City takes on Oxford. As it stands, the Panthers are in fourth, while the Yellowjackets are in second.
Oxford was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Albertville. John Grass' team came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
