Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mesick). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-9 victory over the Walkerville Wildcats. With the Bulldogs ahead 33-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Issac Stroh had a dynamite game for Mesick, putting up 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Hall, who posted nine points.

With the win, Mesick broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Walkerville, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mesick will challenge Lake City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Walkerville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Walkerville Wildcats take on the Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
