North Rowan (Spencer, N.C.) extended its winning streak to 12 games with a 42-0 victory over Surry Central (Dobson, N.C.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Trae Clark touchdown run in the first quarter, the Cavaliers were up 28-0 at the half.
North Rowan expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. NR scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Alexis Archie to
Sakil Harrison.
Xavier Robinson stood out for the Spencer school in the win. He ran for one touchdown. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.
The Cavaliers went into the matchup giving up only 11.2 points per game.
The loss was the third in a row for the Golden Eagles.
