The Williams Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves, and things went their way on Friday too. Williams walked away with a 54-42 victory over Cedar Ridge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Williams.
Williams' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Scout Winter, who scored eight points along with eight assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alaiyah Mitchell, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Williams' victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Cedar Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williams will challenge Person at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Person comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Cedar Ridge, they will head out on the road to square off against East Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
