Nobody could stop Trevor Erickson on Wednesday as he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with six or more strikeouts. For the year, he has an ERA of 1.83 over 15.1 innings pitched.
