Silsbee had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Deweyville Pirates. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Silsbee's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Deweyville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-7 record this season.
