Grant Park had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 14-11 to make it four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Anne Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for St. Anne, they now have a losing record of 8-9. Their loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Anne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Demi Duncan, who had five kills, three digs, and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Tessa DeYoung, who had four digs.

Looking ahead, Grant Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Kankakee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Anne, they are taking a road trip to take on Watseka at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
