The Seminole County Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Seminole County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Georgia School for Innovation & Classics' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Thursday, Seminole County made easy work of Mitchell County and carried off a 22-1 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

Jonathan Jarvis made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Brayden Hodges was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. John Walker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Seminole County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Georgia School for Innovation & Classics nor Augusta Christian made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Patriots won by a run and slipped past the Lions 4-3.
Seminole County has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Georgia School for Innovation & Classics, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-9.
Both Seminole County and Georgia School for Innovation & Classics just can't seem to miss. The Indians have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Georgia School for Innovation & Classics struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits.
