With a playoff game on the line, the Leonard Tigers rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Palmer. The victory was just what Leonard needed coming off of a 49-28 loss in their prior contest.
Cutter Burrow and Eric Cisneros certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Burrow gained 217 total yards and two touchdowns, while Cisneros threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns.
Leonard now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Leonard will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Holliday will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
