While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Aaron Burks. On Friday he made a splash, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. It looks like he has Clarkston's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too.
Burks and Southwest DeKalb won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Griffin at 3:30 p.m. on January 27th. The matchup will pit Burks up against Griffin's star small forward Khore Furlow. Will Burks turn in another gem to overcome Southwest DeKalb? We'll have our answer very soon.
