Basketball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Beats Goldsboro for Their Third Straight Win

Southeast Raleigh had won two straight games and Dariyah Harris did her part to make it three on Friday. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 62-46 win over the Goldsboro Cougars with plenty of help from Harris, who shot 50% from the field en route to 30 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Despite the loss, Goldsboro still got an impressive performance from Aziyah Boyer, who posted 14 points. Nieirah Smith was another key player, putting up ten points and five steals.

Southeast Raleigh's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Goldsboro, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Raleigh is taking a road trip to face off against Millbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goldsboro, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Washington at 6:00 p.m.
