The Howland Tigers and the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Howland will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Even though St. Joseph Academy scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Howland still came out on top. Howland strolled past St. Joseph Academy with points to spare, taking the game 72-58.
It was another big night for Alyssa Massucci, who scored 27 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Howland's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Powell, who scored 14 points.
Howland's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Howland strolled past St. Joseph Academy in their previous matchup on Friday by a score of 72-58. Will Howland repeat their success, or does St. Joseph Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
