Volleyball Recap: St. John's Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with the Academy of the Holy Cross

St. John is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of The Academy of the Holy Cross. The Cadets lost 3-0 to the Tartans. The Cadets have struggled against the Tartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

While St. John's was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into The Academy of the Holy Cross' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for The Academy of the Holy Cross, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
