Meanwhile, Hueytown came up short against Pelham on Tuesday and fell 51-41. While losing is never fun, Hueytown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while Pelham is ranked 89th).

Everything came up roses for Wenonah against Hueytown in their previous meeting back in November as the squad secured a 72-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wenonah since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
