Kobe Phillippi and Braydon Griffiths provided fans with a highlight when they connected against South Park. The connection was good for 59 yards, the longest such play in WPIAL AA Century this season.
South Fayette extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Quaker Valley, 52-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Keystone Oaks' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Golden Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Phillippi has thrown for 660 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Cory Sevacko has 30 catches for 344 yards. Dale Klobuchir leads the league in rushing with 625 yards.
A big matchup in WPIAL AA Century this week will be when Seton LaSalle takes on the Quakers. The Rebels are in third place, while Quaker Valley is in sixth place.
South Allegheny moved up to 170 from 197 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Gladiators climbed the ranks as a result of a 41-14 win over McGuffey.
