Given Seneca's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 110th in South Carolina, while Franklin County is ranked 387th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Seneca got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cam O'kelley out in front who scored 24 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Jalen Craig was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with 9 rebounds.
Seneca's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Seneca will head out on the road to face off against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
