The River View Raiders entered their tilt with the Mount View Golden Knights with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. River View took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-34 win over Mount View. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win River View has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Danielson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ethan Justice, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and four blocks.
River View's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Mount View, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
River View will head out on the road to face off against Hurley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hurley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 428th in Virginia, while River View is ranked 69th in West Virginia). As for Mount View, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Montcalm at 6:45 p.m.
