Second Baptist not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 25, 2024 (when they won 49-0). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fort Bend Christian Academy 49-7. Considering Second Baptist's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win made it two in a row for Second Baptist and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Fort Bend Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Second Baptist is set to face off against their familiar foe Kelly Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Christian Academy will take on rival The Woodlands Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
