Softball Recap: Kecoughtan Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

While Kecoughtan put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Denbigh. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Patriots. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by ten runs or more this season.

Kecoughtan's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Denbigh, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Kecoughtan will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Woodside at 4:30 p.m. The Warriors are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Denbigh, they will venture away from home to challenge Indian River at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
