Bucktail is 0-10 against Millville since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bucktail Bucks will be playing at home against the Millville Quakers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Bucktail came up short against Meadowbrook Christian and fell 44-32. While losing is never fun, Bucktail can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 553rd, while Meadowbrook Christian is ranked 143rd).
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Millville, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-29 loss to Muncy on Saturday.
Despite the defeat, Millville got a solid performance out of Larissa Evans, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 62.1% of Millville's points, marking the 15th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Abby Kakaley was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Bucktail now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Millville, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
