Calhoun Academy posted their closest victory since March 21, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks, sneaking past 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the War Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

Joseph Lyons was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Crews Felder was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The victory got Calhoun Academy back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calhoun Academy will host Jefferson Davis Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they will square off against Orangeburg Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
