Stroud got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Collins out in front who picked up 159 receiving yards and three TDs. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Collins a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Cropp, who threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.
Stroud was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 381 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hennessey only rushed for 133.
Meanwhile, Luther suffered their biggest defeat since August 29th on Friday. They were outmatched by Casady and fell 65-12. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Luther saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaiah Zapata picked up 54 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 33 yards.
