It was another big night for Katie Busch, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 17 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Desiree Mercado, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Tri-City Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7. As for Orange Glen, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Tri-City Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Pointers at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Orange Glen, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m.
