Football Recap: Ace Emery's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jackson Hole over Cody + How To Watch

After flying high against Powell last Friday, Jackson Hole came back down to earth. Jackson Hole came up short against Cody on Friday, falling 48-28. Jackson Hole gained 231 more yards on the day, but it was Cody that made the best use of them.

Several Broncs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ace Emery, who rushed for ten yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 55 yards and one TD.

Jackson Hole moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Cody, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Jackson Hole is taking a road trip to challenge Lander Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so the Broncs' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cody, they will host Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
