The biggest upset of the week belonged to Hauppauge, who took down 447th ranked Hauppauge, 20-14.
Sayville extended the longest winning streak in Section 11 Division III this week by beating Miller Place, 35-12. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
6-foot-0 quarterback Ryan Keefe of Comsewogue is the league leader in passing yards this season with 386. He has also thrown three touchdowns. On the ground, Bellport's Nate Chavious has rushed for 907 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nick Constantino. The Bellport star has three catches for 102 yards.
Chavious of the the Clippers is only 93 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Sayville takes on Kings Park. Robert Hoss' team is in first place, while the Kingsmen are in third place.
Westhampton Beach moved up to 220 from 309 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 11 Division III. The Hurricanes climbed the ranks as a result of topping Amityville Memorial 24-22.
