Sandalwood has gone a perfect 5-0 against Baldwin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mighty Saints will take on the Indians in a tournament on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Baldwin will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Sandalwood extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. The Mighty Saints came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Mandarin.

Sandalwood saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Navarro, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That's the most hits Navarro has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Baldwin won against First Coast on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Indians had just enough and edged out Fletcher 4-3.

Maxwell Gallagher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on nine hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Sandalwood, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Sandalwood has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Baldwin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Sandalwood skirted past Baldwin 4-3 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Mighty Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
