The Winamac Warriors will challenge the Jimtown Jimmies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winamac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
Winamac easily dispatched Culver Community on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Warriors fell just short of West Central by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since May 2nd.

Hutch Martin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Winamac is 4-2 when Martin posts two or more runs, but 7-9 otherwise.
Jimtown came out on top against Wawasee on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Jimmies were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Jimmies, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Collin Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Dalton Cook was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Collin Rivers was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Jimtown now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Winamac, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Winamac has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jimtown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
