Softball Recap: Kent City Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

While Kent City didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Lakeview Wildcats on Wednesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Kent City's third in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeview, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Kent City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
