On Dixie's side, Brenlie Phelps was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Phelps was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Eliza Kesterson and Morgan Staheli did most of the damage at the plate: Kesterson went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double, while Staheli got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Staheli has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of PEYTON HATCH, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
