Ascension Catholic's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the St. John Eagles as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Ascension Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for St. John, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 18-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ascension Catholic will venture away from home to take on Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. John, they will head out to face off against Thibodaux at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
