After both having extra time off, the Choctawhatchee Indians and the Chiles Timberwolves will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Choctawhatchee comes in on six and Chiles on 12.
Choctawhatchee is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Mosley by a score of 3-1.

Choctawhatchee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mikah Bandy, who had 19 digs. Those 19 digs gave Bandy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Airabella Delay, who had five digs and three aces.
Choctawhatchee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in nine consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Chiles got the win against Lincoln on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chiles took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-6, 25-9.
Choctawhatchee better focus on containing Natalie Gibson and Madison Joyner as the pair were huge in Chiles' win. Gibson had ten digs and two aces, while Joyner had 14 digs and eight assists. Gibson has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last ten times she's played. Loganne Abernathy also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Choctawhatchee's record now sits at 15-12. As for Chiles, their record is now 26-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Choctawhatchee has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Chiles struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Choctawhatchee might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Chiles when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
