Aletheia Christian Academy let Katelyn Davis and Abby Finley run wild. Davis scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, while Finley scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Finley has posted since back in February of 2024. Abigail Baldwin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Fianna K made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). K was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Jenna M and Isabella M did most of the damage at the plate: Jenna got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, while Isabella got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Rylee L, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Aletheia Christian Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.3 runs over those games. The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Aletheia Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lighthouse Private Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Aletheia Christian Academy took their victory against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 22-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
