The Silverado Skyhawks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans at 5:00 p.m.
After a string of three wins, Silverado's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. The match between Silverado and Rancho wasn't particularly close, with Silverado falling 54-36.
Kingsley Jones put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Christina Stowers, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cimarron-Memorial didn't have too much trouble with Green Valley on the road on Wednesday as they won 56-39.
Silverado's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
