The Jimtown Jimmies will head out on the road to square off against the Westview Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Westview will be up against a hot Jimtown squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Jimmies blew past Elkhart Christian Academy 10-2 on Monday.

Camden Pappas looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Owen Biggs was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five RBI and one triple. Another player making a difference was Brodric Kaler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Jimtown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2025.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westview). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Lakewood Park Christian a 17-0 shutout on Monday. The Warriors have beaten the Panthers the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.
The team relied heavily on Elijah Zolman, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and two stolen bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Westview: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 1-8 otherwise. Lucas Swanson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
Jimtown's record is now 8-4. As for Westview, their record now sits at 3-9.
Westview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Jimtown hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329. It's a different story for Westview, though, as they've only averaged .255. Will they be able to contain Jimtown's hitters?
Jimtown skirted past Westview 4-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jimmies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
