Williamsburg put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Clinton Astros a 49-0 shutout. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildcats had established a 41-point advantage.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamsburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gray Robinson, who rushed for 113 yards and two scores. Robinson showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Tenhunfeld, who threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns.
Williamsburg's record now sits at 9-0. As for East Clinton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
