After flying high against Douglas County last Wednesday, Chaparral came back down to earth. The Chaparral Wolverines lost 56-34 to the Regis Jesuit Raiders on Friday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Regis Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Chaparral and Regis Jesuit should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. Chaparral (ranked 48th) will meet Heritage (ranked 199th) at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Similarly, Regis Jesuit will take on Castle View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 132 places (11 vs. 143).
